Information for local residents and businesses in downtown Gatineau.

We would like to inform you about the temporary closure of certain roads as part of the Tour de Gatineau, which will take place on September 15, 16, and 17, 2026. This prestigious cycling competition attracts riders from around the world to compete on our beautiful roads. The safety of all athletes is our top priority, which is why temporary measures must be taken to ensure a secure race course.

We understand that this may cause inconvenience for local residents and businesses, and we are extremely grateful for your understanding and cooperation during this period. Please be assured that we are doing everything possible to minimize disruptions.

Any request for access to the course during the prescribed hours must be made through the police service.

The Tour de Gatineau is a unique opportunity to showcase our beautiful city to the world and to celebrate our passion for cycling. We hope you will understand the importance of this event for our community and share in the excitement it brings.
